Truly-Liberty-Connection

Do You Allow The Horse To Say No?

Liberty is a gift.

I have done everything from trail riding, eventing, roping, cutting, jumping, classical dressage to bridleless and competing. But what really changed my life with horses is what I've learned about horses' language, culture and communication systems, and that led me to Truly Liberty Connection®.

I have been working with horses this way since 2014. Truly Liberty Connection® is based on horses fredom of choice and their natural herd rituals and instincts. It is based on the relationship where the horse is free from the beginning without ropes, tricks, pressure, clicker, treats, roundpen, consequences or coercion.

The liberty that the horse shows us is a gift, it comes from the bond and the deep friendship we share with the horse. It's not trained or learned. It comes through connection, energy and body language.

The secret is that the horse has the freedom to say no. This makes a horse connect naturally and have a desire to follow our lead. In this freedom, both the horse and the human can communicate through a natural bond, which creates a connection we can trust.

Training a horse without tack is actually much more efficient and goes twice as fast. Normally, people start with tack and end in freedom (liberty), but then the horse has been trained to it. Tack has its place later on when we start schooling the horse to be a well-balanced riding horse in biteless classic dressage in my program from Liberty to Piaff...
